Membership Information
The Lubbock Apartment Association Our Mission is to educate, advocate, cultivate relationships, and provide resources to strengthen our rental housing industry. Our Vision is to cultivate relationships and be the leading advocate, community partner, and educational and operational resource for our rental housing community.
Supplier Partner
To be part of our Supplier Partners, you must provide goods and/or services to the rental housing industry. This includes Real Estate Brokers or Brokerage Firms not classified as "Owner" members or any other person or entity interested in the rental housing industry.
Memberships are annual, beginning the month the membership is approved and renewed in January each year.
Annual Membership Dues: $415, due upon application.
Owner-Property Member
To join Owner/Property members, you shall be (1) an owner of rental housing of 10 units or more or (2) a licensed Texas Real Estate Broker who manages or operates rental, multi-housing, or condominium housing or (3) a management company or management company representative engaged in rental, multi-housing or property management, ownership or owner representation of a property that joins the Lubbock Apartment Association directly.
*All properties 50 units and over must have their own membership.
Memberships are annual, beginning the month the membership is approved and renewed in January each year.
Annual Membership Dues:
Base fee $315, plus $2.68 per unit

Independent Rental Owner -IRO
To be part of the Independent Rental Owner membership (IRO) you shall own and/or manage rental housing that consists of ten (10) or fewer units.
Memberships are annual, beginning the month the membership is approved and renewed in January each year.
Annual Membership Dues: $175, due upon application.

- Facilitating relationships with the JPs handling evictions,
- Providing quality IRO specific education,
- Access to the LAA staff with over 45 years of rental housing experience and expertise
