LAA Refund/Cancellation Policy

By registering for any LAA event, you accept the refund/cancellation policy terms. Some events or classes may have specific refund/cancellation policies that differ from the policy stated below.

When you cancel an event/class

Cancellation must be received in writing 72 hours before the event/class date to receive a full refund or not be billed. Substitutions are welcomed. No-shows and late cancellations will be billed at full price. Email any cancellations/substitutions to laa@lbkapts.com.

Credential Course Cancellation Policy (CAPS, CAM, NALP, CAMT, CAS, CPO, etc.)

Cancellations must be received in writing 14 days before the course date to receive a full refund or not be billed. Cancellations received within the 14-day grace period will incur a non-refundable, non-transferrable $125 fee. Substitutions are welcomed. No-shows and late cancellations will be billed the full price. Email any cancellations/substitutions to laa@lbkapts.com.

When an event/class is postponed or canceled

LAA will always endeavor to produce events/classes on the originally scheduled dates. If circumstances cause an event/class to be postponed, the cancellation policies mentioned above will remain in effect. Substitutions are welcomed. No-shows and late cancellations will be billed at full price. Email any cancellations/substitutions to laa@lbkapts.com.

In rare circumstances, it may be necessary to cancel an event/class. Should this happen, all paid registrations will be refunded or credited to the member’s account. Any unbilled or unpaid registrations will be voided/deleted/not billed. The decision to cancel an event/class is not taken lightly and will be the decision of the Executive Officer/Board of Directors/Committee responsible for the event/class. A change does not entitle registrants to the rights of direct or consequential damages resulting from the cancellation or postponement.

Notice of Photography and Filming:

Please be aware that your photograph or video may be taken without notification by attending the Lubbock Apartment Association events and sessions. The Lubbock Apartment Association (LAA) reserves the right to use these images for marketing-related purposes. By registering and attending any association event or class, you are waiving the right to inspect and approve any images and claims.
