Closet cleanout and Volunteer Day at the Dream Center

Join LAA for a Day of Service at the Lubbock Dream Center!

Spring is the perfect time to refresh our homes and our community spirit! The Lubbock Apartment Association is pleased to invite you, our valued members, to a special volunteer event in support of the outstanding work of the Lubbock Dream Center.

On Wednesday, April 30th, we'll be lending a hand (and hopefully some donations!) at their Clothes Closet, located at 1111 30th St.

Two Ways to Get Involved:

1. Clean Out Your Closets for a Cause! Doing some spring cleaning? Gather your gently used clothing, shoes, and accessories that you no longer need. Bring them along on April 30th! Your donations directly help individuals and families right here in Lubbock. Let's fill their racks with kindness! Men, Children, Women, clothing are needed. 

2. Volunteer Your Time! The Dream Center Clothes Closet needs helping hands to sort donations, organize clothing, and assist shoppers. It's a rewarding way to connect with fellow LAA members and make a tangible difference. We've set up convenient shifts to fit your schedule:

   • Shift 1: 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM
   • Shift 2: 12:00 PM - 2:00 PM
   • Shift 3: 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM

Please register to volunteer so we can get a headcount for the shifts. Choose the time slot that works best for you!

Even if you can't volunteer time, we strongly encourage you to swing by and drop off your clothing donations between 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM on April 30th.
